SPOILERS BELOWI don't know if this is technically a spoiler or not (since he hasn't actually woken up yet) but I'm sorry if this pic has spoiled it for some of you.
It's basically how I imagined Byakuya finally waking up after being healed in the 'Blood Pond Hell'
I'm sure I wasn't the only one who got a good laugh from the recent chapter (519).
And I will never look at a peach the same way again! 
I couldn't help but feel a bit sorry for mummy Byakuya (since he was all wrapped up in bandages after recent events) being tossed like a rag doll in the hot springs scene. Sure it was healing him, but I couldn't help but be a bit shocked.
I was just about to go to bed after reading it, when a thought occurred to me. What if Byakuya woke up in the 'Blood Pond Hell'?? I got shivers then at the mental image of him rising, healed, out of the blood springs. Imagine what he'd look like?! I knew then I had to try and paint it!!
I'd almost call this a speed paint again as I did it in less then a single night (although I did some touch ups today in a few spots). And considering how fast I managed to finish it, I'm totally pleased and excited at how it turned out (even if it does look a bit gruesome with all that blood).
Time: Approximately 8 hours
