Bleach Halloween 2012: Egyptian Costumes/Theme: Byakuya, Rukia,
and the Seaweed Ambassador!A little fan service this year, eh?
Well I wasn't originally planning to do a new Halloween painting again this year, but with recent events in the manga Byakuya has been on my mind a lot lately. And despite my bouts of tears, I felt inspiration strike again.
I pondered many different costumes this year and finally settled on an Egyptian theme. I've always been fascinated by ancient Egypt (I loved learning about it as a child) and the idea of drawing my favourite characters in something I loved so much really got me excited (and the idea of dressing Byakuya up in gold and transparent silk helped too!)
The outfits themselves aren't what you'd call traditional Ancient Egyptian costumes, as I wanted to include my own 'flare' to them, but over all I'm very happy with how it turned out.
