Well this is the result of me being bored after just finishing the latest chapter of Bleach (OMG I freaked out at the end of chapter 348!!). I really liked the new design of Ulquiorra and I just had to draw him again. This is the result.

It started off as a doodle that I really wasn't going to take great amounts of time to finish, but I liked how it turned out so I decided to post it. Its far from perfect and there are still things that bug me (yes I know the arms look funny), but over all I am pleased with it.

Painted completely in photoshop.
Time: 7 ish hours.

Since I don't read the Manga's, I'm only familiar with the character's through the fan-art I see, and this is definetly not the Ulquiorra I'm used to - the rather placid-looking guy with the weird helmet :giggle: really dymanic artwork here :clap:

:giggle: Yes, in the manga the character recently went through some major physical changes, which included growing a tail and a pair of bat wings. ^^ One thing that made me really happy was though that he lost the mask (helmet), that thing is such a pain to paint... ^^;
