This was my entry for the Den of Angels (a ball jointed doll forum) 2010 calendar contest. I didn't win the coveted cover spot but it did make it into the calendar itself.
Ok, yes I know he resembles the character Sebastian from Kuroshitsuji and that's simply because this pic began as a doodle of him that changed into a painting of a random doll character as I worked. However, this final version is NO way related to the Sebastian character.... However a real Kuroshitsuji fanart is in the works.... Time: 1-2 weeks Painted completely in photoshop. No critique please! I am releasing a calendar via DA Prints in a few months and this image (probably without the doll joints) will be included. ------------------   COPYRIGHT NOTICE © ALL of the works and content on my gallery are under copyright law (2006-2009). I REALLY love the rose and how you can see the textures in it. The dew gives it such a shimmery look without being overly attention grabbing.
The shading in his hair appears to have a bit of warmth to it (red) to match the other red in the picture.
