Commissioned for :iconelvenboi: of his centaur/cyborg character along with a friends original character named Taiei.

Hehee, this was my first ever experience at painting a centaur (and a half cyborg one especially). I haven't drawn many horses in the past, so this was sort of a new experience for me. I had to look up a bunch of horse reference photos, but in the end I'm rather pleased at the outcome. Also a note on the armour. I originally did the design for a previous commission but I liked it so much that I decided to use it again for this one.

Ausome job!!! It's so neat to see centaur artwork! I still think they are one of the types of creatures that fantasy books, games, and movies don't make enough use out of! The background is gorgeous and I love the armor that you designed for the centaur :thumbsup:

I was just gonna say, I don't think I ever saw you do a centaur before. He looks awesome and well proportioned. The fellows armor looks brilliant too. Interesting to see the robotic parts. Its like adding mythology and scifi together. Is the girl wrapped up in thorny vines? If so he came at the right time. I think that heavy blade will do the trick just nicely. Just as long as he cuts the vines and not her along with it :giggle: lovely scenery too buddy. this picture really inspires the imagination.
