Commissioned for :iconelvenboi: of his centaur/cyborg character along with a friends original character named Taiei.

Hehee, this was my first ever experience at painting a centaur (and a half cyborg one especially). I haven't drawn many horses in the past, so this was sort of a new experience for me. I had to look up a bunch of horse reference photos, but in the end I'm rather pleased at the outcome. Also a note on the armour. I originally did the design for a previous commission but I liked it so much that I decided to use it again for this one.

Please No Critique Desired !!!

I'll probably get your commission posted eventually (either here or at my elfwood gallery). I have loads of other finished images that I haven't posted yet either... and I still do want to get them up sometime too. ^^;

This is beautiful! The detail really keeps my attention. My only bit of advice is that the faces are so....expressionless, I guess, that I can't really tell what's going on. Is she stuck? Is she scared of being caught, or of him? Is he friendly or dangerous? I would assume the second because of his gigantic sword but since he doesn't look particularly threatening it's difficult to tell.

I admit I do struggle with getting expressions right. Just something for me to keep working on I guess. ^^;

Oh and she's supposed to be trapped in the vines when he shows up. The client was a bit uncertain as to what the centaur should be thinking and he went back and forth with different ideas for a time. Finally in the end the client just wanted a slightly smug expression on the Centaurs face (the centaur was basically amused that she could allow herself to be caught in the vines in the first place). It doesn't show up as much in this smaller version but up close they do show a bit more expression.

I'm glad you like it otherwise. :)

Like how it looks. Looks steampunky. And as usual, flawless coloring. I eel a bit of black in it is working to make it look a bit like an American comic again. Like it.

The cyborg parts are amazingly detailed. I'm not at the level i can do those types of things yet, so to see a piece as well done as this impresses me to no end. Very, very well done!

I also love the background, sword, and...well...everything else! You have a wonderful talent.
