Knight of Gold by keelerleah Knight of Gold by keelerleah
Commissioned for :iconsyunrii: of her male knight character Xeric.

Hi Everyone! ^^
This painting was actually completed in September and since it was one of my favourite commissions I did this summer, I figured I should actually get it posed. I haven't really been in a mood to post much stuff lately... but I figured it was time I do so again. I will also have a new painting posted up around Christmas too, as I was commissioned to do a new Kuroshitsuji/Black Butler Christmas themed painting again. This time featuring the character Undertaker (as I posed on my facebook page a few weeks ago). So look for that in the next few weeks. :D

Painted completely in photoshop.
Several reference images used.
No Critique desired.

This turned out stunningly. The armor looks so real I feel like I could touch how cold it would be. The colors are well done and balance very nicely. The wings look so soft I really do wish I could touch them. I also like how you did them. They look real. Not overly done. Not easy to pull off. This must have taken great skill to do. I'm impressed. I do think you should have made his face a little more masculine because with his hair I at first thought it was a woman. But over all it's amazing.
