One of two commissions I did for :iconkitana-ukira:. This one is of the character Rei Ayanami from Evangelion Shin Gekijouban. (Don't ask me anything about the series as I know nothing from it, I was just given reference pictures of the character).

This one was actually fairly challenging. The plug suit really allowed me a chance to practice my anatomy painting (which I feel still needs more practice). But even, so I'm pleased with how it turned out.

Normally i dont like rei fanart since they tend to make her into a huge chested sex bomb, but this is nicely made! Nice rendition of an older Rei. Great work! and true to the spirit!

You seem to have knack at making characters I usually hate look cool! Soifon would be another example. Good job!

Well I'm afraid I can't tel you much about the anime as I don't know much (if anything) about it myself. I was just given images of the character and I just drew her from that. But I can tell you that its a staff that she's holding in her hands.
