Commissioned for

of her character Sabin Duvert.

Slightly darker then what I usually do, but even so I enjoyed the change. The shadow beast (see character info below) was especially amusing to paint, and despite totally creeping me out, I had a great time painting all those eyes and teeth.

This version here is actually slightly modified compared to the original completed commission. The other version doesn't have the red fire in his hand (it's black/shadow) and the characters nose was a bit longer looking. I uploaded this version because I personally liked how it looked a bit better (with the additional splash of red coloring and all).

_{A bit about the character: Not human, not a vampire either. In a nutshell, he was possessed by, and merged with, a shadowy nightmare creature called an Anju.

Also a note: It was brought to my attention that the six eyed beast resembles one from the anime series Hellsing. I wasn't aware of this (and I personally don't know anything about the anime), I just drew what was wanted by my client.}

Beautiful work! His hair looks so silky

Interesting use of light here and that creature in the background is very intriguing-looking! I don't think I'd want to be caught in the same room with it hehe

Yes, I believe he is sort of possessed by the creature. From what I was told, the character actually changes form and turns into the beast. I just added in a smokey version of it as sort of a background idea and the client liked it so it stayed in. ^^
