The Fire Realm

Commissioned for of her half elf half human character Dawnfire Northstar as a cover for her upcoming book. The title of the book being 'The Fire Realm'.

A recent favourite of mine. I couldn't be more happy with how this one turned out. The background especially, turned out better then I had expected (I did reference lots of stone pictures to get the shading and textures more or less right). The dress too, turned out better then I had imagined. I did struggle a bit on the ruffles and I blew countless hours on detailing the armour, but I'm happy with it now finally. ^^
