The Guardian

Commissioned for of her original characters Rhiannon Gray and Saurin.

I was thrilled when my good friend *Kim-Anderson came to me with this commission idea. She is in the process of writing a book and after sending me the first chapter I knew I had to be apart of it (even if it's just doing a painting of her main characters).

<sub>A bit about the characters: Saurin (the male in the back) is one of the legendary warriors that appears in her story. He is wrapped from head to toe in dark bandages to cover his burnt flesh (a ritual that they have to go through that involves burning themselves until they become eventually resistance to fire).

Rhiannon Gray: the daughter of the Duke. Saurin is sent to escort her on a long journey to her waiting fiancé.</sub>
