Bleach Halloween- Byakuya and Rukia

Bleach Halloween 2013: Beauty and the Beast (or Demon Emperor and Pretty Princess)  In name only, not based on the Disney love story... although I did end up including a rose.


Well I wasn't originally planning to do a new Halloween painting again this year, but the idea of drawing Byakuya again wouldn't leave me alone... so here is another Halloween image this year.

I was pretty much out of costume ideas though. So it started off with a coat I had drawn for a commission recently and I went with that. I liked the idea of Byakuya dressed up in a fancy rich emperor/king coat with Rukia dressed up in a matching dress. I then ended up giving him horns and sort of a demon/beast look... then the idea of naming it 'Beauty and the Beast' just sort of hit me. It suited the look so I went with it.
